[Digestion] Sugar and the Indian drum type digester

Hi Tony and all:

 

We just posted news of a small-scale drum AD unit essentially the same as
ARTI's but commercialized by the Indian company Synod; see our post at
http://www.terutalk.com/February-2013.html#0204-4. Their unit is designed
for 2 to 5 kg food waste a day, but they indicate they have larger scales
available to full industrial. My guess with raw sugar: add water to >50% and
meter it in with other nutrient-rich feedstock like food waste / manure.
