Thank you for your response to my question. I cannot afford to go the route of having an engineer do designs.

For me it would be easier to travel to Europe, or anywhere else in the world, to see one in action.

My problem is that the droppings that come out of the houses is far too wet and difficult to manage, and with very few large farms in my area, and at this time none who want to take it, even for free, I have to find another method of handling it.

My hope is, that having produced the gas, I could then use that to dry off the slurry

You will have to add some dairy manure or other low nitrogen substrate.  Otherwise, the chicken manure nitrogen/ammonia load will suppress the AD reaction. You also have to be concerned about how often the hen houses are cleaned out to keep the methane production as level as possible.

 

We have done several conceptual and preliminary designs for this in Poland. You will really need someone who has done it to jump and do the preliminary design and substrate calculations.
