Dear Toby and all

Toby's last statement

> Does the first step make producer gas or syngas? Apparently the technical review didn't know the difference or was asked to overlook it and it makes about a 10x difference.

Was my firm belief until two years ago. Now many people are making both FT diesel and methanol from 50% N2 producer gas. I believe the excess N2 buffers the reaction and protects the catalyst.
