[Greenbuilding] Energy-saving shower

While the concept seems really good, our very open large shower is highly
prone to mildew or other fungus problems, esp. in the spring and summer.
Closing would hugely exacerbate that growth.  The walls of the shower are
smooth stucco; I'm wondering if this material fosters mildew growth?
