[Greenbuilding] FINISHES for MDF vs Particleboard vs Whatever

Applying any finish to an absorbent wood like Pine can be tricky  
because of the rapidity of drying. My solution is to use a brush
for a more consistant coat, and to put on more coats (2 is really the  
minimum) which build to a uniform appearance.
