[Greenbuilding] 2000 miles on a scooter to get to the green building conference

I was kind of curious myself and surprised to find that 'scooters' of that
size are not that fuel efficient 50-59 mpg seems to be the consumption range
for that size .

I have a 660cc 3 cylinder truck that gets 50mpg.

sounds good to me. 
Even scooters aren't what they used to be. I thought 50cc was the scooter
class. What is your anticipated fuel consumption for the trip? Are you
returning by scooter as well?
