[Greenbuilding] Crushing Clay

When I want to reconstitute clay (as a ceramist, not a house builder)  
-- I soak the dry stuff in water, and it falls apart, while fizzing...
I don't know whether this is relevant/doable for the kind of  
quantities you're planning to use, but I thought I'd mention it.
