Yes, cheap land, relatively speaking but really huge building cost.  Wonder
if they factored in their own labor too.  If they didn't, the cost is even
more ridiculous.  Frankly the seemingly romantic idea of a separate bedroom
without an connecting walkway, in sub-zero temps leaves me cold.

Re the cost, it might be difficult to amortize the Passive aspects over the
life of the house.  Still an interesting combination, the rammed earth and
all that glass....was, if not practical, pretty interesting IMO.
