I'm not really interested in this but I did have look at the website and,
while I guess Hydro Quebec is a reputable outfit, what they are derscribing
has all the smell of a scam. The description of the functions of the
elements seems strange. The most bizarre is the patch telling us that the
currently available version has the cold inlet at the bottom of the tank. I
wonder where the inlet is going to be on the next version.
It raises two questions:
Is this the first time they have produced a tank with an element at the top?
Don't they have off-peak tariffs in Quebec?
