[Greenbuilding] "Average" cost of household energy

Wow, that's quite a website! It's a bit cumbersome to read though....I've looked at some of the tables re: average annual energy usage and would have to study to make sure I'm interpreting the numbers correctly. 

So let me ask a simpler question: is there a national average cost for energy usage, per person. On the average, each person can be expected to pay a certain amount for energy.
