[Greenbuilding] RE controlled combustion air supply

Hi Ross,

You might consider using a mechanical draft fan installation at the chimney
connected so that it operates when your rangehood fan is turned on. This "may"
be able to counter the negative pressure created in the home and on the wood
burning appliance when the rangehood operates.

This is a "possible" solution to a problem I have seen too many times. Putting
a non "truly sealed combustion" appliance inside a supertight, superinsulated
home. Pressure (either positive or negative) can create some strange
situations in a super tight home.

Please post if you find an acceptable solution. Good Luck
