[Greenbuilding] Federal Renewable Tax Credits

I heard a rumor, but have not been able to confirm on line that the renewable energy tax credit was cut in the recent deficit fight in DC.  The rumor said that the credit was good for 2011 but not after.  Is there any truth to this rumor.
