[Greenbuilding] spin

We recently got a Sears front loader for $500 which spins very nicely, with a choice of speeds.
Being one who sees appliance failure as a challenge, I had kept our old front loading Gibson
running (Bondo'd leaks) beyond it's shelf life. The new machine is so much better, I may consider
"do not resuscitate" as my new repair policy. Drying? I double-faced taped our old, rarely used
dryer to the top (yes, it's that smooth) of the new machine. The trees are too far away; clothes dry
on a folding rack.
