[Greenbuilding] Condensing dryers vs heat dryers

In Central Texas many of us make significant efforts to hang on to water.
We expect about 30" of rain spread over maybe 5 days, read big gutters and
big storage.  While in Germany we used a condensing dryer and seemed to
gather nearly a gallon of water with each load. We all hoard air
conditioner water already.  Has anyone compared the two, I have not found
