[Greenbuilding] Canadian study of hot water consumption

The NRCan study Holladay refers to in his article
http://aceee.org/files/pdf/conferences/hwf/2008/1c_thomas.pdf that found 44
gpd hot water usage is most interesting. The preamble hints but does not
clarify that the households studied were 4-person affairs. Does anyone on
this list know more about this effort? I couldn't find anything on the
http://www2.nrcan.gc.ca website.
