is with great sadness that we must report the sudden death of our 

founder and Executive Director, Paul Hughes, due to a heart attack on 

Saturday, September 15. He had an environmental vision which is sorely 

needed and he devoted his life to promoting this cause as well as many 

others. We hope to keep his vision going and with the help of many of 

his devoted friends and followers, the ReBuild Warehouse will remain 

open.  For those of you who would like to attend a memorial gathering 

and/or service, they will be held on Friday September 21 from 6-8 p.m. 

for the memorial gathering and the Celebration of Life service will be 

held on Saturday September 22 at 11 a.m. All will be at the Demaine 

Funeral Home, 5308 Backlick Road, Springfield, VA 22151. The family asks

that in lieu of flowers, donations to the ReBuild Warehouse in Paul's 

memory will be greatly appreciated. You may donate on-line at rebuildwarehouse.org/donations.html or send a contribution to the office at 8929 Colesbury Place, Fairfax, VA 22031.
