[Greenbuilding] OT: Switch to LED TV?

Hi all,

Didn't realize how much power a CRT TV took, LCD/LED TV's consume about 1/3 the power...

Curious though about the embodied energy of a new TV. Anyone looked in to this? Is it worth using the old TV for a couple of more years?
