If you have solved cold bridging around the windows it won't matter. Dark or
light sills could conceivably only contribute HG/HL minimally. Especially if
you are shading the glazing and the windows installed have a good or better
thermal break to maintain balanced HG/HL.

I just salvaged an assortment of marble to put in windowsills. Should the
light marble go on the north facing windows for light and the darker marble
on the south for winter solar heat gain (building will have exterior shades
in summer)?
