[Greenbuilding] Helmut Ziehe - Founder of International Institute of Building Biology and Ecology passes away

Hello all,

I realize that not all on this list know about Building Biology, but many do, and for those folks I wanted to let people know that Helmut Ziehe, the founder of the International Institute for Building Biology and Ecology, the North American version and school for Building Biology, passed away on January 17th. 

Helmut was a visionary who brought the knowledge of the German Bau-Biologie to North America, translated the texts into English and taught folks how to create healthy, natural buildings. His knowledge, wisdom, passion and excitement for the field of healthy buildings was incredible and inspiring to many, many people. It is because of his work that I do what I do, and am grateful to have helped my own family, and to help others create natural healthy houses.
