Norman,
I’d like to see those studies because your claims fly in the face of the bulk of the research and standards set by the EPA and other health organization regulating water quality. In my research I’ve found that just about every type of water that’s consumable for drinking has it’s advocates and critics. I’ve even recently heard criticism of reverse osmosis and rain water being “bad” because people believe that such “clean” water removed of minerals thus “flushes all the minerals out of your body” and you need to take a mineral supplement.
“Softened” water doesn’t necessarily mean the water is “soft,” it just means that it’s not as “hard” as it was before treatment. Trace amounts of potassium and sodium simply don’t constitute a health hazard otherwise there would be an epidemic due to the fact that there are millions of drinking supplies that are “softened.” Someone with a potassium sensitivity would have to give up eating most fruits and vegetables and I don’t eve know what a diet like that would look like. Regardless, the issue isn’t with the potassium it’s with the medical condition.
I’d also like to know if Lono Ho’ala benefits from such claims so he can sell his products.
