Dear all,
the situation in Malawi is very much like the one in Zambia.
Licenses are reused year after year and I guess more than one million people are involved in the charcoal business..........from the forest to the most tiny market in small towns.
Export are not allowed by law for about 15 years..................

The challage are that these people has to be involved in the transaction towards other types of fuel to be introduced on the market and be part of the production line, transport and sales from day one.
