>From what I can see, world population growth is heading down now anyway, not
increasing. By 2050, it will reach 0.4%, on the current trend, which appears
to be pretty linear, and would reach a zero value in 100 years. At 0.4%
growth, population doubles in 155 years. And that's assuming nothing really
disastrous happens - another flu pandemic or somesuch.
