Our Sampada gasifier stove accepts 8 inch (20 cm) long pieces of wood, as
well as coconut shells, date seeds, walnut shells, and any other woody
material. It is a T-Lud type of stove, without any fan or any other moving
part. It is sufficiently short for a woman to sit on the ground in front of
the stove while she is cooking. Fresh material can be fed into the stove
while it is burning. It is mass produced. It is quite popular locally, but
we have also exported a few pieces to other countries.
