[Stoves] Powering a TLUD Fan

As I read this thread I see Paul defending his position. I have been on his
end before -- where I did all the homework and then a bunch of people
jumped in with "a better idea". So, let me say that what I want to do is
just come up with an alternative way to power the fan.
If I can get one (or a few) units in my hands I will work on that piece of
the picture. Electronics I am good at. I don't want to pretend I am good at
designing a TLUD.
