Dear Friends of Char

This might interest you - a bit 'out there' but heck, who knows what will
happen in future?

Activated carbon can be used to mop up mercury from flue gases. The carbon
can be re-used over and over.

It seems to be a new market for the char. I have not seen activated carbon
produced in a stove but it is a biomass product so might be of interest to
researchers.

Regards

Crispin
