[Stoves] Understanding Stoves

Dear Agnes

Today I really got a BIG surprise. I was visiting the NGO called YDD in
Yogyakarta and believe it or not there is in the back a rare, hand-made 2004
Vesto stove with both primary and secondary air controllers. It is black so
it was made before the first printed can version.

I am really sure this belonged to you at one time and wonder if you know how
it got to central Java! It is in good condition in spite of the heat and
humidity.

The only difference between this one and the commercial version is that the
common ones have no secondary air controller (too difficult to train users)
and the combustion chamber has a slightly different hole pattern (fewer
holes). I thought you would be tickled to know it is still around.

Best regards

Crispin
