[Stoves] is this new?

Dear Friends of controlled excess air

This stove doesn't look like much but has 5 attractive features:

(1) There is as clear attempt to control excess air by making the pot
rests quite short and using the pot as a choke, forcing all exiting gases to
pass through the flame gaps.

(2) Notice there is no flame gap at the front where the cook sits.

(3) The hole(s) at the back of the combustion chamber are an attempt to
give some air to the flame which naturally drifts to the back because there
is only one main air entrance.

The combination of features increases the heat transfer efficiency and stops
the smoke blowing into the face of the cook.

(4) The wire handle mounted high on the body means it can be transported
safely while burning.

(5) The ring of wire in the groove will prevent the stove from falling
apart once it cracks into two or three parts.

Many 'improved' stoves do not incorporate these important features. A stove
like this will sell from the producer for about 50 cents. It needs a metal
grate.

Regards

Crispin
