Dear Paul,
Micron sizing is done for diamond abrasive powder ! 0-2 is used for
polisching diamonds and 2-16 micron is used for grinding diamonds .
Separation is done by different sedimentation speeds in 30 cm water,
according the size. Density is 3,4 for diamonds !
Carbon 2,5-10 u can go in and out the nose .
The submicron goes through the lung bubles into the bloodstream.
Clean carbon is inert, not reactive , but fatty PAC s=POLY AROMATIC CARBONS
particles are cancerogens as naftalene and antracene and 50 other .
Each is studied in ROSTOK Germany with 50x50 mices and cancer noted .
For there dangerous COCKE factories distilling
mined coal ..
10-25 u is heavy powder .
50-100 u are visible grains for myopers D6 ;
100u =0,1 mm paper thicknes .Detectable to nose and eye with 10 mg.
CATARACTS see google (cataract wickepedia )
It is proteine coagulation alike by sorbitol and many more like tannine and
for stovers METHANOL is causing BLINDNES by drinking home brew spirits
containing a litle bad alcohols ;reduced to aldehyde are killers ..
Also dry wood destilation gives methanol vapor , dangerous to inhale .
PM are not the cataract danger . Age and food are. But in the west you get
a new acrylate lens in 15 minutes .
A broken eyesensor can be welded by a green laser and even a macula hole
into the sensor can be repaired with two operations an two months sil-oil
into the eye bol !
Remember :If you see flashes ;you must hurry to go to the eye Dr for
welding!!!
PM 2,5 importance ? Pro analyse carbon --------> miners dust lung .
Naftalene crystals growing out of old bitume is very cancerous by contact .
So size plus product in moleculs purety is important .
Regards
Frans
Onderwerp: [Stoves] Between PM 2.5 and PM 10
Stovers,
Please tell me or direct me to an explanation of the impact of the PM
that is BETWEEN PM 2.5 and PM 10.
I believe that the experts say that under 2.5 is the bad stuff for
respiratory health, and that over 10 is not sufficiently important even
to be measured.
Is PM size 10 to 25 (twenty five) ( 50 or 100) "visible"? Detectable to
the nose or eyes?
What causes cataracts?
How important is the PM larger than 2.5?
Please forward this inquiry to the stove-medical people who are not
readers of this Listserv.
Paul
