Dear Stovers

 

This is very similar 

 

 

in function to a stove that is available to the South

 



 

The latter is a Tihengo Stove, Gorontalo Province in North Sulawesi
(Indonesia).  Sulawesi has large megalithic granite pots!

 

Great islanders think alike!

 

Notice the grooves that are used to limit the excess air flow through the
combustion chamber. There is much to learn from traditional stoves.
