Dear PM Watchers

The site http://agaar.mn/index has a really nice set of charts and maps
showing the PM2.5, PM10, CO, CO and NO3 levels in 9 different parts of
Ulaanbaatar.

There is no wind and it is -19 so the conditions are prefect for an
nighttime inversion which should run the emissions really high. One of the
Khoroos (small districts) has a reading of 903. That is more like what we
are used to! However it is still far below the usual peaks. The nighttime
temperatures will be about -25 for the next few days which will provoke most
people to keep the home fires burning.

Let's see if it goes up much more and work there is still to do in reducing
stove emissions.

If you hover your mouse over the chart on the right, you can see the hourly
readings one by one.

Regards

Crispin
