Ronald H,

I for one disagree with your thoughts on many levels. Perhaps one day you will grow to a level of understanding that will be beneficial to the world. Dr. Larson, I and the rest of us look forward to your arrival. Hope you don't mind if we don't wait for you, we have much to do.

  CAUTION: sarcasm alert!
yup, all you have to do is convince UNO that that value is high enough and they'll send blue-helmets all over the world to make people dismantle their homes at gunpoint: then burn them one stick at a time in TLUD's so the resulting char can be sequestered.
If you lived in Californina, Ronal, you'd have voted for Senator Yee.

I am afraid we have not done as good a job as we could on any part of char-making stove promotion. They also don't say anything about CDR = Carbon dioxide removal. They'll get there eventually.

To others: Jock is referring to a part of the message I forwarded earlier today from the Director of GACC. I changed the font coloring, in case this comes through as unreadable as Jock's version.

does it mention improving agricultural yields and quality. If this is not in the mission statement, why should we expect this benefit to be a key metric in the standards they promote?

Not including the agricultural and economic benefits of biochar in their overall vision means that pyrolytic stoves have to compete with simple combustion devices with at least one hand tied behind the back. Not at all a level playing field.

      Thoughts,
