I am glad that i finally succeeded to design a workable "mobile adam-retort" which seems to be very promising!
Capacity about 430 litre of volume which can be loaded by about 150kg of wet wood or 120kg of oven dry wood.
Charcoal expected about ~35kg, we still have to do further test runs.
Operation time about 5 hours and cooling over night means a daily operation.
About 7kg of waste wood needed per hour for the first 3 hours to drive of water from sun-dry biomass (~21kg all together).
The unit can be operated and moved by one person, weight about 140kg.
And most important quite smokeless operation during most of the time, reducing emissions for charcoal production!

The retort is not recommended to be build individually, it should be mass produced by an entrepreneur, only with a well equipped metal workshop and a production line- the retort can be fabricated economically. So don't approach me for drawings for individual manufacturing, find an Entrepreneur who might go for it.
The "mobile adam-retort" has been accepted for patent application, too many good things in it...
