[Stoves] Rocket stove a la 1943

Dear Adrian

It looks more like a simple "Top Fed, Updraft" grate stove. There does not appear to be any provision for secondary air, so it should be a very Smokey and inefficient stove.

The "Rocket Stove" concept has both Primary and secondary air.

Best wishes,

Kevin

  Hey Stovelist,

I was sent these photos by my Aunt and Uncle they have this stove with them in the South of France.

They say it is French and it dates back to the Second World war, 1943 to be exact.

Could this be Rocket stove 001? Interesting Air duct at the back.

Does anyone know anything about these?

Would be interesting to find out more?

  Kind regards

  Adrian Padt
