Built into the home2.       The multiple rings (we would not be using plancha stoves but the multiple rings for different pots is of interest).  What are the tops made of?  What is the cost?  These remind me a bit of old fashioned U.S. cast iron wood stoves.3.       Chimneys4.       Quality  How do plancha stoves work in terms of efficiency?  I would assume they lose a lot of heat through the top.  Huck

Subject: [Stoves] Stoves in Guatemala  Dear Stove Admirers  The stove production facility visited by the ISO Working Group members was very interesting. Some faces may be recognisable.    These are a few of the products. As you can see they are plancha (flat top) stoves with multiple rings. They are built into the home and work for a long time each day. The most expensive models sell the best. People are willing to pay for quliaty.  I have a photo of what is ‘under the hood’ if anyone is interested.  RegardsCrispin
