[Stoves] SNV Stoves, Lao

Dear Friends

 

There is a report (2 MB) available from SNV on their stove project in Lao. I
am bringing this to your attention so you can see the unusual way they cook.
The stove is crafted around the local conditions, as you can imagine, and
the sales are going strongly.

 

They claim efficiency numbers but the test method is not stated nor the
metric other than 'efficiency'.

 

In some cultures rice is steamed (only) which requires high heat.

That is the website. The report includes of the photos. The wicker contained
has the rice in it, the pot is the steam generator.
