Hi Folks;

More advice on paper clay from this online discussion:
http://www.alloyavenue.com/vb/archive/index.php/t-35.html?s=d56fdee1e8e3c74e0cf0c765dd367491

Paper pulp may serve a similar fuction to cow manure used in making a clay
stove, and be a substitute for sawdust.

The heat capacity and thermal conductivity may be decreased by adding in
some lumpy organics into the clay body like chopped straw or seeds. (Fire
the clay slowly to allow time for pyrolysis to escape).

The strength of the fired clay can be increases by using leachate from wood
ash which adds potasium. Potassium acts as a flux to lower the temperature
at which the clay vitrifies.
