It's a long time ago so I cannot rememer the details but because of
the way it was handled and the spray landed on people and food crops
the  contamination was significant. The agent orange produced in bulk
contained about 600 times as much TCCD as that used in UK agriculture.
Subsequently it was found 2,4,5, T itself was toxic so was withdrawn.

I think TCCD like DDT accumulated in fat in the food chain so  it
ended up in the Vietnamese population. It is a carcinogen and
implicated in birth defects.
