Dear Friends Of Fire-Watching

I saw this during a factory visit in April:

That is a fire roaring out of the combustion chamber into the heat exchanger and cooking are.

So how was it possible to see it without allowing air into the pot hole (or smoke out)?

With a pipe and an thick piece of ordinary glass. Other than losing a bit of heat, it has no influence on the functioning of the stove. You can watch the fire all the time.

Regards
Crispin
