SOCAP has made a longstanding commitment to invite and recognize the most promising social entrepreneurs from around the world each year. The SOCAP Social Entrepreneur Scholarship Program<http://socialcapitalmarkets.us1.list-manage.com/track/click?u=198533f134aeec99a4fc0c2d3&id=f81267e44d&e=e06e21ecdd> provides passionate, committed innovators with a platform to get their ideas in front of impact investors and global influencers, and help them connect with peers.

This year, in order to ensure that our global community of interested entrepreneurs have ample opportunity to go through the visa process and arrange their travel, we have opened our application early and have also committed to give notification to selected international applicants in early July.

About the Scholarship Program
In 2017, we will select up to 150 outstanding entrepreneurs to receive a scholarship. The benefits of being a SOCAP Social Entrepreneur include:

  *   Free SOCAP17 full conference pass (valued at $1495)
  *   Tailored entrepreneur programming pre-conference
  *   Hostel accommodations for the duration of the conference
  *   Recognition and high visibility in the SOCAP program
  *   Dedicated mentorship from notable impact leaders
The deadline for international applicants seeking early notification (if selected) is June 1, 2017. For all applicants, the deadline is June 30, 2017.
