They seem a conventional fan stove that can be used in TLUD mode, and one 
of the youtube videos shows the larger stove being loaded with large 
chunks and then top lit, but the solar powered battery pack with variable 
speed controller looks nice, and the price seems very reasonable.

There's an exploding view time lapse sequence on the first page for the 
smaller stove, which gives some idea at least of its construction.

The smaller one looks a good contender to replace the Reed fan driven 
woodgas camp stove, although I notice the even older Sierra zip stove is 
still available in the US at least.
