[Stoves] Passing of Muhammad "Bōny" Rukman

Dear Friends

“Bōny” was the main technician on the control panel side of the YDD testing laboratory, a man of many skills and bounding interests.

Apart from being a mountaineer who was deeply involved in numerous mountain rescue efforts, he was an expert in rural sanitation and construction, as well as very good with electronic devices and computers.
In August-September he was working in Lombok assisting with rescuer and rebuilding following the three severe earthquakes there. The photo above appears to have been taken while he was volunteering at the Peduli Anak<http://indonesiaexpat.biz/other/charities/charities-peduli-anak-lombok/>: Lombok Island’s sanctuary for underprivileged children. The sign in the background reads “Peduli Lombok Earthquake 2018” in red. The destroyed buildings can be seen on the back right. An aerial view of the original compound can be seen at the link.

Bōny passed away from a heart attack while engaged in this service.
