Hi Folks;

I think that this discussion about CH4 emissions has been very useful,
because it indicates that testing for CH4 should be a regular part of
biomass stove emissions testing protocols.  Testing labs and the ISO group
should take note of that.

TLUDers believe that in their quest to reduce PM2.5 particles, combustion
of CH4 must take place.  For that we now have to get evidence.  We have to
try to falsify the hypothesis that "modern ND-TLUDs are safe".  If we are
unable to falsify that hypothesis, then we can conclude that ND-TLUD are
most likely to be safe, or safe under certain conditions.   The degree of
safety needs also to be quantified.

It was good to be made aware of the Kon Tiki paper (below), because stovers
are not necessarily attracted to that topic.

So, onward and forward to better knowledge via conjectures and refutations.

I will be doing some work on a ND-TLUD burner in about a month's time after
I have cleared other pressing work.  After I have got the burner tuned, I
will send the TLUD to a lab.
