Crispin:

To keep matters in perspective, an announcement by the Indian minister of
petroleum announced today
<https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/industry/energy/power/india-to-see-100-billion-energy-investment-by-2024-dharmendra-pradhan/articleshow/71939617.cms>
"India to see $100 billion energy investments by 2024". And that is just in
the petroleum sector (upstream and downstream.

Western greens like to pat each other and aspirational women entrepreneurs
in Third World for infantile initiatives like the carbon market. What
would it take to put $5 billion to the cooking and heating appliance market
(fuels will come) in service of ambient air quality plans in India over the
next ten years? I would be more positive to Ashden and Acumen if they had
any credibility in businesses and parliaments.

How long are we going to keep on playing in our sandboxes? So long as
donors entertain our fancies?
