Paul:

Although I am even further away than you (being retired) from the commercial entities they want to take the survey - I did so. My motivation was as yours - to get TLUDs and char-making into their thinking. If others have time, I agree that our voices need to be heard.

Re specialization of the survey, I found after question 41 that they had picked up that I was interested in charcoal. Not sure they knew the difference between charcoal using and charcoal-making - but I tried to clarify.

But I was required to have an answer in order to continue. So I continued and the survey did not get any better. Then it got worse (see next).
[RWL: Many places it was possible to simply answer with zeroes. I wouldn’t worry about their being able to figure out why we are answering.

Note that the survey is labeled “modern” stoves. They need to understand that many simply can’t afford that. But TLUDs can still save time and money (and even make money)

Note: Maybe there would have been a different tacked-on survey depending on how I responded to the previous question that might have been a filter. (I cannot go back into the survey to find out, and I do not want to waste any more of my time.)
[RWL: I had no added survey offered. In fact, I suddenly found myself over - while expecting more (I wasn’t watching the question count sufficiently).

[RWL: Probably so - but their getting messages about char-making will still send a message.

But if you do, and if you give fake answers so that you can go to the next page of questions, please do NOT finish the survey and do NOT submit fake results. Give CCA and the workers a chance to try to maximize what they can from this survey.
[RWL: I wouldn’t worry about giving fake answers. They can eliminate any particular survey if they wish from the averages they are looking for. The important thing is that they hear about char-making stoves and small producers. At least this particular survey is not addressing the stove needs of the poorest - so this is a sufficient message to send.

	Thanks for the alert.
