[Stoves] PM Studies under attack (again)

Dear Stovers

Are your stove sales plans based on PM2.5 health or harm?  You might want to read this:

"This study tries to address short-term (same day) mortality from PM2.5. The researchers claim that among these 22+ million Medicare recipients, the risk of mortality increased 1.05% percent per 10 microgram/cubic-meter increase in PM2.5."

Those new to the topic will want to read much more background material about the disputation. Essentially there is a large inverted pyramid of stove intervention activity resting upon a very small number of dubious claims on one or two foundational reports which have been extrapolated far beyond their original models. If you want to join the fray, remember, "In God we trust, all others bring data."
