[Stoves] Passing of Kirk Smith

That is very sad.  I worked with Kirk on this area in 1979 when he was at
the East West Centre  and I was stove  program manager for Intermediate
Technology Development group. I then worked with him on the first
standard procedure for testing cookstoves at VITA in Washington in I think
1981.  I then work along side him in Nepal when i developed the eyes
watering test and he was developing his portable household emissions
analysis kit in the 80's. He was a great inspiration. He will be sorely
missed.
