Dear Christa

I have replied to Mandeep directly.

The Vesto was designed in Swaziland (now Eswatini) and manufactured in Matsapha, home of New Dawn Engineering.

It received three awards, two for industrial design and one for "innovative use of stainless steel".

Originally it was made using a mild steel body and later a cylindrical stainless steel version was made. Some were manufactured in the Gambia with only the combustion chambers sourced from New Dawn Eng. These were mild steel (except for the fire chamber).

George of the Jungle reported that after 5 or 6 years, of the original 25 stainless steel samples, all but 1 were in use at least on a weekly basis justifying the claim for a 5 year working life.

Thanks everyone
Crispin

Actually the stove was designed by Crispin Pemberton Pigott, then manufactured in South Africa.

@Crispin,

can you help Mandeep?
