Paul,

Action has been slow. I keep it open because we occaisionally have some
useful exchanges. You can check the action on the list
archives.http://lists.bioenergylists.org/mailman/private/stoves_lists.bioene
rgylists.org/

Each time you ask about the list I check the server and see that you are on
the list and should be receiving email. It may be that you just don't notice
when there is a posting.

I have considered migrating the list to Groups.io but don't feel that is it
worth the cost of migrating and the recurrent cost unless someone is
actively managing the discussion.

Hi Paul, yes it is still alive, strange that you get no messages but they
are few and far between nowadays.

The server is a bit clunky, indeed I saw your post in the archive yesterday,
which I check most days, and only received it on one system today (I set my
preferences to receive a message to two accounts, the gmail one often does
not receive posts from the list server which is probably something to do
with google rather than anything else).

Most of the big posters from the first world seem to have turned their
attention to biochar but we get posts from some of the people still working
in the field, like Kevin and occasionally Christa.

I keep a monitoring eye but as I never did get to work at the front line of
third world cooking I can really only contribute on technical matters.

Same to you, I am long retired now, have some ailments to be expected of old
age but happy to potter about locally minimising my contribution to the
production of CO2.

Andrew
