People used to bundle up and put up with drafts. Hard to fathom. We've
gotten so soft.

In my neighborhood in the next big city to the South of you it is similar.
Lots and lots of houses that still lack insulation. Maybe a little in the
attic, but not much anywhere else. I blame central heating. If folks had to
chop wood and heat the great outdoors with it they'd have wised up long ago.
