[Greenbuilding] Wood heat

We all know that getting/keeping firewood dry is essential to making  
wood heat practical,
but planing for wood storage is often overlooked. Unless you can  
build-in a clever load-from-outside,
remove-from-inside double door bin, my experience is it's a lot  
easier to fill a wood bin close to the
door. Carrying wood from there to the stove is not such a chore when  
the door is closed and your
feet are dry...
